Starting with an artificially created image of magma, adding digitized paper cutouts, combined with digital collage, and photo editing. We end up with the beauty and chaos of an end to an era; metaphorically and physically speaking. This textile features burning trees from wild fires, the Hollywood walk of fame, ruins from an ancient Italian cult, and the most famous surviving Roman sculptures according to Google. So is this a theme about the fall of an empire or the fall from fame? Maybe both.
